Double-Dutch a Varsity Sport?

Studies have consistently shown that on average, girls who play sports tend to perform better in school than girls who don’t. But the message that competitive sports also helps produce successful career women, hasn’t always been effectively communicated to urban parents. Last year, New York city schools tried to do something about getting girls more involved in competitive activities. The popular urban street pastime called double dutch in which competitors jump between two ropes twirled egg
